I'm so glad you are here.
My name is Melissa Carrigee and I am a freelance website and graphic designer. I have a GRAPHIC DESIGN degree, a BUSINESS degree and currently working on a WEBSITE DESIGN degree. I have a passion for design, colors, creating logos and business. I have won various awards for my graphic designs (individually and in a team). My love of website design stemmed from my graphic designs. I wanted to see my designs in motion so I began designing websites. I love the business side of website building and enjoy the whole process of research and planning sites which sometimes seem to be a very important step that gets forgotten. The business owner inside of me strives to make the best website for my clients in order to inform their users and promote their business. The best way to market and advertise something is always in the back of my mind.
My skills are always expanding as I get further into my website design degree and I stay on top of all current design happenings and software. I am proficient in Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver.
I am the author of the book, “Adventures in Home Building: Written From a Woman’s Point of View.” I am currently working on several children’s book and a fiction novel.
